Rose Haven Farm Store
Watch for the Sheep!
Rose Haven Farm Store has now moved to downtown Picton to better serve you. After 5 years on the Farm, we outgrew our space and have now completed 3 years in downtown Picton here we can serve you comfortably year round.

We now at our 187 Main Street location where at last we have a real Main Street presence.  Those of you who have come by will know this has been a very positive move.  For those who have yet to make it, we are still very close to our old location, not far from Main & Elizabeth Streets, so easy to find.

We always carry Koigu.

Rose Haven Farm Store is continuing to develop our fabulous specialty yarn shop where emphasis is primarily on natural fibre yarns such as Koigu, Colinette, Rowan, Lavold, Manos del Uruguay, Noro, Louisa Harding, Fleece Artist, Lishman's Fur Yarn, the Japanese line Habu, Fiesta, Cottage Craft, Misti Alpaca and many more. We also carry handspun including Studioloo, regional breed specific yarns such as Shetland and alpaca and a variety of kits.  Knitting books, patterns, specialty buttons & needles complement our knitters’ and crocheters’ offerings.

Fabulous Lishman Yarn,
Our Fur Yarn

Our Store also carries our beautiful washable sheepskins suitable for a variety of uses: babies, wheelchairs, auto & motorbike seats, sofas, bedrooms and even pets!

Glorious Colinette

Wonderful Canadian handmade clothing and gifts offer further shopping choice: knit, woven and felted hats, scarves, mittens, slippers, sweaters, shawls, vests, bags and Thermohair and alpaca socks are always available. Delightful critters such as bears, cats, bunnies, sheep, alpacas and mice as well as household items like sheepskin and alpaca felt pillows and knit throws round out our gifts. Our product line is always growing and we work hard to support local crafts people.

Terrific Handmade Gifts
The new Store is also the location for washed and carded products for spinners, felters and thrum knitters such as Alpaca and mohair blends and our favourite Romney. We also carry many kinds of protein & vegetable fibres and Pat's Merino & silk Colour Packs for needle felters.  We have now added ribbon packs for fibre artists. In addition we have been increasing our embellishments, and carry Treenway's silk threads & ribbons, Planet Earth beaded and sequined silk threads and small yarns by Hand-Dyed Hobbies.

Finally we continue to offer lamb cuts made famous by our farm: boneless stew and shanks to butterfly legs, lamb patties, lamb sausage and even lambie pies, from our freezer.  All of these are County lamb cuts primarily supplied by Tracy Smith and her farm on Oram road, off Hwy. 62.
