Our yarns lines are diverse and growing all the time. Our approach to yarns encompasses the following: primarily natural fibres, Eco yarns, handspun regional and local yarns, Fair Trade and luxury fine fibre yarns. We have just received another shipment of yarns from Schaeffer, hand-dyed products in unusual colours, many named after famous women. Audrey is one of the newest, a merino - silk blend with excellent yardage. And we now have over 10 colours in Nancy. Habu is one of out newest lines that we carry. If you are interested in Japanese textiles, , unusual materials and textures, then Habu may be for you. This line offers Silk Wrapped Stainless Steel including the 4 new colours, Linen & Cotton Paper, and even Pine. We also offer the overtwist wool & silk crepe yarns that weavers relish for special effects. We just recently added a new fine slub cotton great for summer lacey items and are continuing to grow this line. We have also just received 20 copies of the new book coming out on Habu Yarns, Ori Ami Knits. If you love Habu, this is the book to get. We have a number of unusual knitting kits and many of the yarns can be used for weaving. If you are interested in particular yarns or colours, call or email and we will get these for you. We still have some Cottage Craft Angoras yarn from Adstock Quebec. We have had a longstanding relation ship with Lorraine who sold her first yarns and sweaters at one of our Fibrefests on the Loyalist Parkway farm in the County. Cottage Craft is specializing in exquisite fine and soft fibres such as angora, bison, merino and qiviut and makes yarns so lush and cozy that you will just have t have some.
