Summer is around the corner and we are now open 7 days a week to serve you.  Hours are Tuesdays - Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and Sundays Noon - 4.   Should you need to call, the answering system is on all the time. 

Welcome to Rose Haven Farm Store in downtown Picton, Prince Edward County, Ontario, Canada and Rose Haven Nature Cottage in South Bay.  Rose Haven Farm Store is a delightful funky shop at 187 Main Street, north side, not far from Elizabeth Street. The Store specializes in being, as one recent customer described it, the Vogue of yarn shops ~ a fabulous experience for fibre aficionados, including fibre artists looking for the unusual.  The Store is also a great place to find handmade gifts from the County and region as well as products based on sheep including terrific lamb cuts for BBQ!   

We are at 187 Main Street, Picton.  Our new location gives us a real Main Street presence, more space ~ you should see our lower area for fibres and workshops~ and at last, display windows.  Now you really will be able to find us!  The shop is sunny & bright, quite a delight.  Still all the same goodies  but so much easier for you to see what products we carry. 

We always have fantastic items in our Clearance Area downstairs and regularly add new bargains.  Be sure to check out our lower area, also the location of our fibres and embellishments.

The Farm Store is also home to many fibre arts workshops ranging from a few hours to a whole week of activities.  For those of you who missed our very successful felting workshops with Maureen Harding we are taking names for Summer 2010 dates.    We have done several Peter Trudeau needlefelting classes and may offer another later in the summer.  We also have Loretta Moore teaching a beginners Primitive rug hooking shortly.  In addition, Rose Haven Farm Store attends a number of Fibre Shows to assist in your convenience.    The Spring shows are now over but our Fall shows are listed under  Workshops & Fibre Shows. 

Rose Haven Farm has sold the former sheep farm so no longer offers a B & B.  However, Rose Haven Nature Cottage is still available for those who love privacy.  This fully self-contained log house at South Bay can be rented by the day, 2 days or week and is available year round, with bookings currently being throughout the summer.  See Accommodations for details.
